Best of East Africa Budget Tour

Day 1: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - Nairobi

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport met and assisted by representative of African Angel Tours and transfer to Jacaranda Hotel for a few hours rest and morning breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast depart for the Northern part of Kenya, Samburu Game Reserve passing through the equator arriving in good time for lunch at the campsite. Enjoy afternoon game drive in search of the elusive leopard, lion, elephants, gerenuk, grevys zebra, reticulated giraffe, Oryx and many others. Samburu Game Reserve is situated in a semi arid area.


Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite (Full board)  

Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve.

Spend your day exploring this reserve and the banks of Uaso Nyiro River with it's crocodiles and elusive leopard. Samburu is renowned as a photogenic country and for a range of rare game found only north of the equator. Enjoy game drive in the morning and afternoon.

Meals and overnight stay at your campsite (Full board)  

Day 3: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast depart  for Lake Nakuru National Park. Onroute visit Thompsons Falls. Arriving in time for lunch at the campsite. Afternoon game drive in the park and around this lake that is famous for its large concentration of pink flamingos and other birdlife. Here you have wonderful opportunities for color photography masses of pink bodies glide above the reflection of blue water. It’s also the first rhino sanctuary for both the black and white species.

Dinner and overnight stay at Kibathi campsite (Full board) 

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast proceed on to Lake Naivasha and visit crescent Island.  Lunch at your hotel.  Afternoon proceed on to Hell's gate national Park. A tiny park located between Lake Naivasha and Longonot and Suswa volcanoes. The park provides a variety of wildlife, unusual flora and many species of birds and is one of the two only Kenyan parks where climbing, walking and biking are allowed. Covered by ashes from the Longonot eruption which occurred 100 years ago, the park is also famous for its geothermal station, Lower Gorge and spectacular sceneries (cliffs, volcanoes, gorges, geothermal steam).

Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Resort.(Full Board) 

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast depart to the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve ,drive through the spectacular Great Rift Valley and then via Narok town (the major Maasai administrative center) to one of the stellar events of your safari Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya's most precious wildlife sanctuary. This is a big game country and long famed as one of Africa's greatest concentrations of game. Plains game are found here in staggering numbers which in turns supports a tremendous predator population. Arriving in good time for lunch. During your afternoon game drive, you shall have an opportunity to see herds of buffalo, lion, Impala, giraffe, elephant, warthog, ostrich, cheetah, hyena, and many others.

Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at Mara Springs Tented Camp. (Full-board) 

Day 6 & 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drive in the reserve with a visit to the Masai village on 25 Dec. Optional climb at Naunare hills.  Maasai Mara is the northern-most extremity of the great Serengeti ecosystem. Here black rhinos browse among dense thorn bushes and herds of giraffe and elephant roam the woodlands. Large numbers of hippos gather and swim in the Mara River. Boasting Kenya's largest predator population, the reserve is renowned for its large lion prides.  Tonight you will dream of all the wonders of Africa,

Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Springs Tented Camp.(Full Board) 

Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi

After breakfast depart for Nairobi.  Drive through the spectacular Great Rift Valley via Narok arriving Nairobi in the afternoon and thereafter transfer to the airport for your outbound international flight.(Breakfast) Price
