Best of East Africa Standard Tour

Day 1: (Jan to Dec.12) Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport met and assisted by a representative of African Angel Tours and drive towards Northern Kenya to Samburu arriving in good time for lunch at your lodge. Samburu is a semi-arid open savannah plain broken by small rugged hills in Kenya's Northern Province. Situated on the banks of Uaso Nyiro River with it's crocodiles and leopards, the nature in Samburu is renowned for a range of rare game. Spend this afternoon in search of the elusive leopard, lion, elephants, the long-necked gerenuk, grevy zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx and many others.

Day 2: (Jan to Dec.12) Samburu National Reserve

Proceed for game drives in the morning and also in the afternoon.

Day 3: (Jan to Dec.12)  Samburu National Reserve - The Ark

After breakfast drive to the central part of Kenya region arriving in good time for lunch at your tree lodge, built on stilts deep in the Mount Kenya forest. This park prides itself in having one of the most consistently high records of big game ' visits' and sightings. 
Elephants, buffalo, rhino, waterbuck are regular sights on the evening and day time. At any other time of the day you can spot game in the specially-constructed viewing bunker that is connected to the lodge by a short tunnel. Here you will get spectacularly close to the animals that feed at the waterhole. Dinner and overnight stay at either The Ark (Full-board)

Day 4:  (Jan to Dec.12) The Ark  - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in good time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park and around this lake that is famous for it's large concentration of pink flamingos and other birdlife. Here you have wonderful opportunities for color photography masses of pink bodies glide above the reflection of blue water. This is considered to be the first rhino sanctuary for both the black and white species. You shall have a chance to see many species including reedbuck, bushbuck, warthog, leopard, baboon and giraffe.

Day 5: (Jan to Dec.12)    Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Depart to the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve driving through the spectacular Great Rift Valley via Narok town (The major Maasai administrative centre).Maasai Mara is considered to be one of Kenya's most precious wildlife sanctuaries. This big game country long famed as one of Africa's greatest concentrations of wild animals. Plain game can be found here in staggering numbers, which in turns supports a tremendous predator population. We will be arriving in good time for lunch. During your afternoon game drive you shall have an opportunity to see wildebeest, herds of buffalo, lion, impala, giraffe, elephant, topi, warthog, ostrich, cheetah, hyena, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge (Full-board)

Day 6:  (Jan to Dec.12)   Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy your day with early morning and afternoon game drives across the expansive Savannah. Maasai Mara is the northern-most extremity of the great Serengeti ecosystem. Here black rhinos browse among dense thorn bushes and herds of giraffe and elephant roam the woodlands. Large numbers of hippos gather and swim in the Mara River. Boasting Kenya's largest predator population, the reserve is renowned for its large lion-prides. All meals and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 7:  (Jan to Dec.12)    Maasai Mara - Nairobi

Breakfast and check out. Depart for Nairobi driving through the spectacular Great Rift Valley via Narok town arriving early afternoon. 
Transfer to the Carnivore Restaurant for dinner and thereafter transfer to the airport for your outbound flight (B) End of services
